Go Bulls

Labor Day weekend! The last two days have been long. We spent Saturday night at the ball game, with it being close to midnight before we got home.  Caleb was an angel, sleeping some of the time and smiling and giggling at the girls the other time. Dad has learned that walking around with a baby gets lots of girl attention! I'm trying to encourage others to hold him so he gets used to other people. The car rides to and from the trop went well too.

It's also the start of Football season and Caleb is ready! Go Bulls!

Sunday was the fantasy football draft. We were up at 7:00a to leave the house by 9:00a and didn't get home until 8:00p. It was a long fun day, but Caleb had fun and was a great baby. Here he is sleeping on the back porch while the guys played beer pong and cornhole.

Sleep is getting better with the average length of sleep being 5 to 6 hours. Since I put him to sleep so early, but I don't go to bed to later, I'm going to start waking him right before I go to sleep for a feeding. Hopefully this increases my amount of sleep. We also have a new sleep bag : http://www.woombie.com/. It allows him to put his arms together and still suck on his fingers through the cloth, but it controls the start reflex. It's a little big, but he will grow into it fast enough. I also am doing more research for sleep advice and found a great website:babycenter.

Jack just making sure all is well!
Happy Labor Day Everyone!
