Dear Caleb

Dear Caleb,
You started to hold your head up off the ground during tummy time this morning. This is a big mile stone according to the all the books. Sometimes you push so hard with your back feet that you go over the boppy and land on your head. It won't be long before you are crawling by the looks of it, although the way you like to stand you might skip crawling altogether and go straight to running. Kat wants to buy you your first running shoes!

You have also really started to notice the dogs as moving objects and you recognize me and your father. This makes your dad very happy. It hit me last night that I am actually a mom, and that you are the greatest kid ever. You are grabbing things like your blanket and putting them in your mouth, but you still won't take a pacifier. Sometimes you find your thumb, but generally its your whole hand.

The day after your vaccines you were pretty fussy, but never ran a fever. I gave you a dose of Tylenol just to make you feel better. Sleep is about the same. Last night was odd as I put you down at 6p, you woke yourself up at 7p but put yourself back to sleep (a big accomplishment), and then woke at 9p, 1130p, 4p and 630p. Maybe it's because of the long nap you had yesterday afternoon?
