It's Christmas Time

Christmas has come and gone in a flash. We've been over loaded in toys, good food, and loads of fun. Grandma F came to visit the weekend before Christmas. She brought a wooden toy truck that once belonged to my grandmother Carol. Grandpa S and I went down south to visit with Great Grandma M and Caleb received more toys than he knew what to do with. Grandma K and Grandpa D sent a wonderful activity board with latches and a homemade shirt that I can't wait for you to grow into.

Dad and I made a wonderful ham, homemade rolls, mac and cheese, roasted veges, and an apple pie. We burnt the bottom of the rolls, I forgot to add butter to the pie, and after taking a family photo the food was quite cold, but other it was Delicious none the less and left overs were even better. We created a new family tradition this year by doing all the cooking on Christmas Eve leaving Christmas day to presents, leftovers and generally laziness. It was perfect.
